Orcas Island, WA

From Anacortes, we took a day trip to Orcas Island, WA.  Orcas is a charming island with a few small towns and a state park.  The pictures are from Moran State Park.

Yes we were fascinated by these trees.
Cascade Bay and Harney Channel.
I insisted on rowing Jim around Cascade Lake.  You see, he drives the RV, the Jeep, the boat etc. the majority of the time.  I insisted he just sit there and enjoy the scenery, such a good girl friend.  Look I'm even smiling.

At this point in our trip, we were slowing down as tourists.  That might be evident from the lack of variety of photos.  Things slowly pick as we enter Oregon on our way to California.

My beasties!!! We are in Reno now. How soon will you be in Taos? What are you doing up at 7:50 am? What will you miss more the hurricanes or the humidity? Even if we can't get together on this trip now, I'm going to meet up with my beasties! Have you decided on a new adventure? How is your English teaching coming along? and Bob's art? I've decided to go to India in the spring. If you you are out of the states, I'll make sure wherever you are will be on my way to India.
We will consider the side trip to NM, but have some obligations. I have a ticket to Chicago on 9/30 and a yoga conference before hand.
I should just phone you, my land lubbers.
kisses all around from me and jimbo
